A really nice boutique museum centered around a fine collection from multiple artists in the Skovgaard family. Traveling exhibitions and interactive installations are always interesting.
Good exhibit and interesting descriptions of the art. But not easy accessible for the elderly.

Not much Christmas about the (Christmas) exhibition, a tree and a place where you can make some Christmas decorations. It could easily have been done much better. Christmas hearts in the windows, Christmas music, etc., when the frame is right for it. A quickly over, and tame round unfortunately, but you can be happy that there is free entry in the month of December. When there is a Christmas exhibition, yes, you expect something Christmassy.
Nice museum that is located in the old town hall and has a nice collection.
Nice little art museum in the old Town Hall with a collection of the various Skovgaard artists, some of whom Joachim decorated Viborg Cathedral.
We also saw a special exhibition with paintings on loan from Ordrupgaard which was nice.
The premises are nice.
